Considering the strategic plan of the Gingival and Dental Diseases Research Center, this center is the only dental research center in the northwestern region of the country. Researcher and collaboration with researchers in other fields to conduct interdisciplinary research is as follows:
Objective 1 (G1): Conduct applied research leading to the production of:
1- Reviewing and formulating research priorities based on product production
2- Approving at least 80% of research projects in line with the center's research priorities
3- Creating a memorandum of cooperation with knowledge-based research centers and defining joint applied projects with these centers
4- At least one patent case based on the knowledge-based research projects of the center
5- Introducing the center to the companies producing dental equipment and materials to obtain a research grant to turn technical knowledge into a knowledge-based product.
6- Encouraging faculty members and researchers to participate in intellectual property and commercialization workshops
Objective 2 (G2): Improving the organizational position, physical space of the center and improving the system and management processes of the center
1- Action to create an organizational chart of the center
2- Pursuing a suitable laboratory space and equipping a cellular and molecular laboratory
4- Taking action to hire faculty members committed to service
5- Discussing and formulating appropriate strategies to increase the participation of faculty members in judging projects and following up on written and official judging and recording results
Objective 3 (G3): Increase the production of science in the field of dental research
 New biomaterials, nanotechnology and regenerative dentistry
1- Trying to formulate incentive policies to increase articles in the mentioned fields by the members of the center
2- Support for the development of incentive policies for the registration of national patents by the members of the center
3- Supporting systematic review plans based on regenerative dentistry
4- Supporting clinical trial studies based on regenerative dentistry
Objective 4 (G4): To create a suitable research platform for students, POST-DOC researchers and research assistants of the center
1- Efforts to hold joint supplementary courses between universities inside and outside the country
2- Trying to create a suitable communication platform between the professors and researchers of the center with the professors and researchers of other centers
Objective 5: (G5) Empowering faculty members, researchers and experts at the Center
1- Holding scientific and practical workshops within the organization to upgrade and update the knowledge of faculty members, researchers and experts of the center
2- Holding at least 1 workshop for empowering faculty members, staff and researchers annually
3- Introducing POST-DOC faculty members and researchers and research assistants of the center to be sent to prestigious scientific workshops in universities across the country
Goal 6 (G6): Collaborate with other research centers, research institutes and universities nationally and internationally
1- Informing and sending research priorities to other universities and research centers
2- Developing joint plans with other centers and universities
3- Concluding a memorandum of understanding with other research centers in line with the center's research priorities
4- Identifying areas of international cooperation for publishing articles
