Gingival and Dental Diseases Research Center is one of the research centers affiliated to Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, which has research activities in the following fields:

 A) Carrying out research-applied activities in the field of reconstruction of lost oral tissues and their function
 B) Development of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods based on new information on the biological basis of abnormalities and destructive oral diseases.
 C) Research in the field of mechanical and biological properties of new dental materials.
 D) Oral reconstruction and rehabilitation Acquisition and production of biomaterials used for oral reconstruction and rehabilitation
  E) Epidemiological studies to determine the demographic pattern of oral diseases.
 F) Research in the field of dentistry based on evidence and its applications in the reconstruction of lost oral tissue.
 G) Establishing extensive communication with other centers of basic and clinical research in order to achieve new methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of oral diseases.
